Doubt and Faith. What do you believe in? What do you know? What is it that seperates the two. What I mean to ask is, how do you distinguish between what you believe and what you know? and is one more credible than the other?

Is there anything you "know" that you might die for? Does having doubt dis-credit what you believe in? Or is faith made faith by the presence of doubt?

I think that we too often look at faith as something that can be perfect and incomplete-something that is pure, and that any failure to match up to that standard is shameful and displays weakness. But if you had no doubt about something, belief doesn't really signify very much, does it? So maybe faith is made complete by belief in the presence of doubt. or inspite of the doubt that lingers. Maybe the faith that lacks doubt is not so great...
